Lewis Capaldi, Foals and Snow Patrol will headline Latitude 2022.
The ‘Somone You Loved’ hitmaker, ‘Wake Me Up’ band and Irish hitlists will head to Henham Park in Suffolk, England, for the annual music festival in July.
Artists like Manic Street Preachers, Phoebe Bridgers, Little Simz, James Arthur, Rina Sawayama and Fontaines DC have also been confirmed to perform between July 21-24.
This isn’t the first time Foals has graced the cover of Latitude.
Speaking about their 2013 slot, frontman Yannis Philippakis told NME: “They were the first to give us a chance to headline a festival.
“It was obviously a pretty amazing night for us, and I think it probably changed the trajectory of our careers. It was definitely a big moment for us.
The indie-pop band will have some new music for festival-goers to play with their new album, ‘Life Is Yours’, out June 17.
The group is in their party phase on their follow-up to “All That Is Unsaved Will Be Lost – Part 1” and Part 2 of 2019.
Yannis said of the record: “We were thinking about parties, clubbing and being drunk on the bus at 2am trying to get home.
“All that: the excitement before going out, meeting up with friends, wild abandonment. ‘Who has the pingers? Where are we going?’ It’s all this youthful excess to go out.
As for Lewis, the 25-year-old singer took a year off touring due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to spend 2021 finishing his new album – the follow-up to his record-breaking debut studio album of 2019, ‘Divinely Uninspired To. A hellish expanse.
Snow Patrol – whose last studio album was 2018’s “Wildness” – is touring the US this month.
Tickets for Cinch Presents Latitude will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday (04.03.22).
